Garments made to endure

Care and repair

Natural fibres, cut and finished by hand, are made to be worn for years and mended when they need it.

The cloths, and their care

  • Linen

    “Breathable, drape-able, soft and loveable!”

    Wendy

Her linen pieces are pre-shrunk and very easy care. Linen washes beautifully and, in her words, just gets better with use.

  • Lambswool

“Recommended care .. if needed, handwashing and hang to dry.”

    Wendy, on the Genevieve Coat

The Genevieve Coat is Scottish lambswool, fully lined in linen. Wash it rarely, by hand, and hang it to dry.

  • Harris Tweed

“Classic, timely, and totally functional, vintage Harris Tweed Jackets from the ’70’s-’80s transformed into up cycled vests… original label of authenticity inside each vest.”

    Wendy

Each tweed piece is upcycled from a vintage jacket, with the original Harris Tweed label inside. Ask Wendy about caring for a tweed piece.

If something needs mending

Wendy stands behind each piece. The aim is for the garment and the wearer to go on loving each other for as long as is sustainably possible. If a hem, a seam, a pin tuck or a line of stitching needs attention, write to her.

Write to Wendy
  1. Write to Wendy

A photo of the piece and a line about what has happened.

  2. She writes back

What she can do, and what it would cost, before anything is sent.

Made to be adjusted

“Stitched with multiple pin tucks that can be adjusted as needed for the changing comfort of our bodies… and finished with signature hand stitched functional and decorative stitching”
