Inspired by ancient clothing creations, the celt shirt is a Three Stone Soup original design, pattern… main body of one piece of linen, with each of the other components made from rectangles as if they came from a hand loom. Stitched with multiple pin tucks that can be adjusted as needed for the changing comfort of our bodies… and finished with signature hand stitched functional and decorative stitching, in contrast or in subtle blending depending on the wear’s preference.
I have been making the celt shirt for about 5 years now… out of mid weight and rustic weight linen. It has been a favourite with those who are looking for something distinctly different, and a legacy garment. NOW! many thanks to my clients personal tastes… I have been evolving the Celt Shirt… into two lovely jacket styles… and I suspect even more to come!
